Ooooohhh…
I think it must be spring!
There are flower blossoms…
And dancers everywhere!
We spent the first few days of our spring break dispersed into the world and watching it snow. My oldest son played baseball then left to visit friends in college. My second left for Hilton Head with a friend of his, bundled up in sweats and toting a fishing pole, and my youngest left for a dance competition in Charlotte. We stayed behind and entertained friends we haven’t seen in years, which was a truly wonderful.
But it was cold and snowing and I had to wonder if I hadn’t mysteriously teleported back north, where we wore snowsuits to Easter Sunday services. 
Our guests continued on to their spring break destination. Our kids slowly arrived home, and the temperature slowly rose. And today, as Good Friday dawns, I give thanks for unconditional love and forgiveness, for a home that welcomes friends and family and friends of my family, for fishing poles and baseball bats and pointe shoes, for my committed husband who works so hard, for sunshine {and even occasional snow}…
and for flower blossoms and ballet dancers in the spring.
